Healing by the Power of Love


 

Introduction

Many times we over-spiritualize very simple things God freely offers to us as His beloved sons and daughters and we fail to receive from God. You know, even as I write these things for your edification, God keeps whispering to my heart that He passionately loves each and every one of us, His children, beyond what words can describe.


Word of Knowledge

I see a woman who will be reading this post in the United States who has been through trials and suffering that is almost making her give up on life and God. God wants you to know that His love for you never changed and will never diminish. No matter how far you have gone away, His arms are still open to receive you home.


I was deeply in thought about healing one day, trying my best to understand it, when the Word of the Lord suddenly came to me. I was dumbfounded about the simplicity with which He outlined healing to me. Today, by the grace of God, I am here to share this with you. I have no doubt this will be a game-changer in your quest for healing and all spiritual matters.

What Moves God to Heal

God gave me His Word that “He heals because He loves us.” Wow, this is an awesome eye-opener for all of us who are trying hard by physical means to receive from God.

You do not need to beat yourself up to be aligned with God to receive. No, no. You only need a child’s faith with the unwavering understanding that God loves you. If you can accept this fact wholeheartedly, you are on a freeway to receiving from God all the time.


As simple as this may sound, it is a hard thing many of us are dealing with. Our past religious mindsets and experiences have built a stronghold of religious works and unbelief in us that we most times think there might be a specific formula to receive from God. No, it is just accepting that God loves you.

How God Works

In John 3:16 NKJV, we read: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.”


God is love. According to 1 John 4:16, He is an embodiment or fullness of love. He does not have a portion of love but is wholly love, and therefore, love precedes all that He does. Get this clear. In John 3:16, we see that the love of God took the lead before the coming of Christ. How does this work? The love of God for sinful man compelled Him to send Jesus for our salvation.


When you personalize this sentence, it may read, "The love of God for me compells Him to heal me from all afflictions." This is how it works.


Let me ask you one more time, do you believe God loves you? Yes? Then believe also that He would not withhold anything good from you.


Let us read Romans 8:32 NKJV: “He who did not spare His own Son, but delivered Him up for us all, how shall He not with Him also freely give us all things?”


The great Apostle Paul understood this revelation, so he wrote this letter to us. As long as love compelled God to give us Jesus, the same love will make Him heal, deliver, and prosper you.

Importance of Faith to Receive

Faith in God is our lifeline of supply to receive from God. When faith is absent, the receiving channel is broken and you cannot get anything from God. Let us read a text from Apostle James:


“But let him ask in faith, with no doubting, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. For let not that man suppose that he will receive anything from the Lord.” - James 1:6-7 NKJV


Unbelief will be a hindrance from receiving from God. Even Jesus was affected by unbelief in performing miracles.

“Now He did not do many mighty works there because of their unbelief.” - Matthew 13:58 NKJV

How to Have Perfect Faith

To have absolute faith in God to receive is not that difficult if we change our mindset to be like a child. It starts as simple as accepting that “GOD LOVES ME.” If you believe God loves you and will not withhold anything from you, your confidence in the promises of God will begin to soar, and your faith in Him will skyrocket. The scripture says:


“There is no fear in love; but perfect love casts out fear, because fear involves torment. But he who fears has not been made perfect in love.” - 1 John 4:18 NKJV


Believing in the love of God for us will cast out fear and doubt, and we will make our faith absolute. This pleases God and He will hold back nothing from you.

Conclusion

Love reaches out to us and the same love makes us ready in faith to receive from God. This shows clearly that our lives revolve around Love—God, the giver of life. Therefore, it is expedient to seek to know and to walk in love.


Prayer For Healing and Deliverance

Let me pray for your healing and freedom now!


Father, I pray for this reader who has believed and received your Word. I ask that you deliver him/her from every sickness and demonic oppression. In the name of Jesus, by His love for you, I declare that you are healed and set free completely from now on in the name of Jesus. Amen.
